Bronx, N.Y. - With Atlantic 10 women's basketball conference play set to start on Saturday, there is plenty to listen to on this week's Cathy Andruzzi Show on WFUV.org, starting at 7:00 PM. In addition to Atlantic 10 talk, tonight's show will feature interviews with Kyara Weekes, Kristina Bell, and Charlotte Stoddart.

Fordham opens conference play on Saturday in Philadelphia, as it takes on Saint Joseph's at 1:00 PM at Hagan Arena in the first half of a basketball doubleheader. The second half of the doubleheader will feature the Fordham men's team also taking on Saint Joseph's at 4:00 PM.

The Fordham women hope to improve on previous Atlantic 10 openers as well as their performance against Hawks. The Rams are just 3-11 in their conference opener since joining the Atlantic 10 in the 1995-96 season, while also taking on the Hawks, a team that Fordham has only beaten three times in 32 all-time meetings.

In addition to taking about the Hawks, the show will also preview the Rams' next game at Temple, and talk with two of the Rams' starters, Weekes and Bell, as well as Fordham's English import, Charlotte Stoddart.

Stoddart and Bell both put their name down in the Fordham record book in the Rams' last game at Princeton. Bell recorded her 100th career steal in the game, becoming the 22nd Ram to reach that plateau in team history, while Stoddart became the first English born player to play a game for the Maroon & White.
