Hanover, N.H. - The Fordham golf team sits in sixth place after day one of the Dartmouth Invitational, but it was two Fordham freshmen that are at the top of the leaderboard, including Jason Del Rosso, who leads the tournament after a school record round of 67.

No other golfer had more than five on the day.

Not to be overlooked, fellow freshman Brody Nieporte, who is competing as an individual, shot an even round of 71, which is tied for fourth overall.

Along with Del Rosse and Nieporte, David Newman and Nick Polvino are both tied for 25th overall after opening rounds of 76, with Brendan Green tied for 36th after a round of 78. Devon O'Rourke (T-50th - 80) and Charles Smith (T-61st - 84) rounded out the Fordham competitors.
