Day One Results
The Fordham University golf squad opened play at the 2009 Bucknell Fall Invitational in Friday at the Bucknell Golf Course, placing seventh of 14 teams after the first day of competition. Jason Del Rosso led the Rams over the first 36 holes, shooting a first day score of 146, six over par.
Del Rosso carded a 73 in both rounds on the day one for his 146 while David Newman shot a 74 in both rounds for a 148 total, good for a tie for 21st. Brendan Green turned in a 75 on the first 18 holes and an 80 on the second for a total of 155, tied for 48th, while Charles Smith shot a first day total of 160 (85-75) to tie for 62nd. Nick Polvino also competed for the Rams, shooting a 162 on day one (86-76).
The Rams will close out play at the Bucknell Invitational on Saturday.
