Newark, N.J. - The Fordham University women's tennis squad continued play at the 2009 NJIT Tournament competing in the singles action on Saturday. Martina Featherston and Taylor Holt each picked up a win in the first round of the Flight B singles while Bethany Boyle and Sarah Tremaine each fell in a first round match in Flight A.

Featherston won in Flight B with an 8-2 win over Morgan MacTaggart of Manhattan while Holt was victorious over Saint Peter's Kristen Realista, 8-4.

In Flight A action, Boyle fell to Hofstra's Lauren Clifton, 8-0, while Tremaine was upended by Laura Mocodeanu of Queens College, 8-1.

The Rams will close out play at the NJIT Tournament on Sunday.
