Hamilton, N.Y. - The Fordham golf team wrapped up play at the Colgate Invitational on Sunday, placing fifth out of nine teams at the Seven Oaks Golf Club in Hamilton, N.Y.

Colgate won the event with a score of 600, followed by Bucknell (601), Laval (606), Lafayette (613) and Fordham (623).

Topping the Fordham finishers was senior David Newman, who tied for 11th overall with a score of 152 (74-78), while Devon O'Rourke tied for 15th at 154 (73-81). Freshman Jason Del Rosso shot a two-round total of 158 (78-80), which tied for 26th.Charles Smith (T31st - 79-80-159) and Nik Andresen (T43rd - 78-88-166) rounded out the Fordham competitors.

The Rams will be back in action on September 18th as they open play at the Bucknell Fall Invitational in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
