Bronx, N.Y. - Long before the other team reported to campus, the Fordham University Cheerleading Squad reported back to campus on July 27th for a rigorous pre-camp schedule to prepare for camp at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Conn.

From August 2nd through the 4th, the team participated at a cheerleading camp conducted by the Universal Cheerleaders Association at Southern Connecticut State University. Fordham won four team trophies, taking first in both the sideline and cheer competition; the game planning award and for the sixth year in a row the Most Collegiate award.

The Fordham University Cheerleading program will hold an open tryout for newcomers on Thursday, September 10th in the Vincent T. Lombardi Center. For more information click here.
