PDL Team of the Week.

Tampa, Fla. - Fordham men's soccer goalkeeper Ryan Meara (Yonkers, N.Y./Fordham Prep) has been named to the Premier Development League Team of the Week, as announced by the United Soccer Leagues office.

Meara is currently a member of the Long Island Rough Riders and earns the award after posting a 2-0-0 record with seven saves and one shutout while allowing only one goal on the week. His efforts helped the Rough Riders to a 3-1 win over the Brooklyn Knights while defeating the New Jersey Rangers, 2-0.

Throughout the summer, Meara has put together a 3-1 record while logging in 800 minutes in net with five starts as the Rough Riders hold a six-point lead in the Northeast Division of the Premier Development League.
