Bronx, N.Y. - As the 2008-09 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 75th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on April 29th to honor Fordham University's student-athletes for their accomplishments during the academic year. Among those honored was Clifton Hilario, who was named men's cross country MVP.

Despite not having run cross country prior to his senior year, Hilario finished in the top 20 four times for the Rams, which included a top ten finish at the Metropolitan Championship and an 18th place finish at the IC4A championship. Following the season, he became only the second Ram to earn Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference honors in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track.
