Fordham University head men's basketball coach Dereck Whittenburg announced today that sophomore guard/forward Mike Moore has been granted a release from his scholarship and will transfer to another school.
"Mike Moore has asked for and received a release from his scholarship," said Whittenburg. "We appreciate his contribution to the Fordham program and wish him the best in the future."
Moore appeared in all 28 games this year for Fordham, averaging 12.8 ppg and 4.5 rpg. He shot 38.7% (126-326) from the field, including 42-for-139 from behind the arc, and added 29 assists, 27 steals and 12 blocks.
Over his two-year career, Moore scored 513 points and pulled down 176 rebounds in 56 career games.
