Tampa, Fla. - The Fordham softball team returns to play this weekend at the USF/Under Armour Invitational, starting Friday afternoon against Lehigh and USF. The tournament is extra special as the University of South Florida will ask fans to assist in the vote for the 2009 Under Armour Invitational All-Tournament Softball Team.

This is the first time that the UA Invitational will have an All-Tournament team, and they're leaving it up to the fans - the ones that really know their teams and the game.

In what is possibly the first-ever live fan vote for an all-tournament team, USF is bringing the voting to the fans through a live chat on GoUSFBulls.com.

As play begins to wrap up on Saturday at the Under Armour Invitational in Clearwater, Fla., USF will begin to post polls within the live chat for each position on the All-Tournament Team. Fans will decide 50 percent of the voting and the Sports Information Directors will decide the other 50 percent. Voting will begin late Saturday and carry through the final day of action on Sunday.

The final votes will be tallied on Monday, March 9, with an announcement of the All-Tournament team on Monday afternoon.
