Complete Game Notes

Charlotte, N.C. - The Fordham University men's basketball squad will continue their 2009 Atlantic 10 season tonight when they take on the Charlotte 49ers in the Halton Arena at 2:00 p.m.

The game will be broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and online at www.wfuv.org Live. Live stats are also available via Gametracker Live.

The Rams enter the game with a 3-22 overall record, 1-12 in the Atlantic 10 and are coming off a 78-68 loss to Richmond in the Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday. Charlotte enters the game with a 10-17 overall record, 4-9 in the conference, and is coming off a 92-88 overtime conference loss at George Washington on Wednesday.

Fordham will be led into the game by freshman guard Jio Fontan, who leads the team in scoring with a 15.3 ppg average and in assists with 119. He is averaging 17.2 ppg over the past 14 games. Sophomore guard Mike Moore, who has scored over 20 points in four of the past five games, is second on the team in scoring (13.1 ppg) and rebounding (4.6 rpg).

Wednesday night's contest will be the sixth meeting between Fordham and Charlotte on the hardwood with the 49ers leading the all-time series, 4-1. The two teams split a pair of games last year with Fordham winning, 53-51, in the Rose Hill Gym and Charlotte winning, 74-60, in the Halton Arena.
