Fordham Rowing Association to Host Inaugural Dinner on March 5th

Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University Rowing Association will host its inaugural FRA Dinner on Thursday night, March 5, 2009, on the 12th floor of the Lincoln Center campus. Cocktail hour begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m.

During the evening the graduating class of 2009 will be welcomed into the Fordham Rowing Association and the 2009 Mulcahy Award, named in honor of John J. Mulcahy, an 1894 Fordham graduate and the founder of Fordham Rowing, will be presented to James Rodgers, FCRH '72, and David Montani, CBA '10.

Head coach Ted Bonanno will speak on the state of the Fordham rowing program while rowing historian and Yale University lecturer, Thomas E. Weil, a trustee of the National Rowing Museum, will serve as the Keynote Speaker.
