Philadelphia, Pa. - Fordham freshman Jason Del Rosso (Orlando, Fla./Bishop Moore) was named Atlantic 10 Golf Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 4th. It is Del Rosso's second consecutive rookie award, after receiving both the performer and rookie awards last week.

For the second straight week, Del Rosso put down his name in the Fordham record book, breaking the low three-round total at Fordham, shooting a score of 215 at Yale's MacDonald Cup. He opened the tournament with an even par round of 70, followed by rounds of 71 and 74 for a score of five over par (+5). Overall, Del Rosso tied for 17th out of 75 competitors.

The previous three-round mark at Fordham was 216, which was originally set by Brian McClure at the 2006 Atlantic 10 Championship.

Del Rosso and the rest of the Fordham golf team will next be in action on October 9th and 10th, as they compete at ECAC Division I Golf Championship, held at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club in Egg Harbor, N.J.
