Philadelphia, Pa. - Fordham freshman Sarah Zieman (Mt. Laurel, N.J./Lenape) was named Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 18th. It is her first career weekly award and the second by a Fordham women's soccer player this season. Fellow freshman Annie Worden was named Rookie of the Week on October 5th.

Zieman became the first Fordham freshman goalie to record shutouts in her first two career starts, as Fordham blanked Saint Joseph's and Temple this past weekend. Zieman made two saves in the shutout on Friday against Saint Joseph's, while recording three versus Temple on Sunday.

With two shutouts, the Rams now have three goalkeepers with two shutouts each this season, as Zieman joined Jen Byer and Rachel Suther in that category.

Zieman and the rest of the Fordham women's soccer team will next be in action on Friday, October 23rd, when they host La Salle University at Jack Coffey Field, beginning at 7:00 PM.
