Philadelphia, Pa. - Fordham freshman forward Aaron Markowitz (Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y./Hastings) was named Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 7th. He shared the honor with Saint Louis' Jonas Reiter.

Markowitz had a pair of crucial assists in the Rams' two matches this weekend. He assisted on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Delaware on Friday night, while getting the assist on the go-ahead goal against Lehigh on Sunday before Lehigh tied the game at two later in the second half.

Markowitz currently leads the Rams with a goal and two assists for four points.

Markowitz and the Fordham men's soccer team will next be in action on Saturday, September 13th, as they host the Villanova Wildcats at 7:00 PM on Jack Coffey Field.
