In their third tournament in the past week, the Fordham golf team sits in sixth place of nine teams after the first day of competition at the 2008 Dartmouth Invitational at the Hanover Country Club.
The host school leads the tournament after day one with the Big Green shooting 298 as a team. Bryant is in second with a team score of 304 followed by Quinnipiac (307), Central Connecticut (314) Saint Anselm College (316) and Fordham (317).
Devon O'Rourke leads the Rams after the first day of play, carding a 76 over the first 18 holes, tying him for tenth overall. Zach Murray shot a 79 on day one to tie for 21st while Trevor Seufer and Nik Andresen each recorded an 81 to tie for 34th overall. Also competing for the Rams is Nico Mizono, who sits in a tie for 43rd with an 83.
The invitational will conclude with 18 holes on Sunday at the Hanover Country Club.
