With only a day off to recover from the rain-shortened Bucknell Invitational, the Fordham golf team participated in the Reboboth Beach Invitational at the Kings Creek Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on Monday where the Rams placed ninth of ten teams in the tournament.
Penn won the team title with a team score of 595 followed by George Washington (599), Brown (613) and the George Washington "B" team (615). Fordham finished ninth with a team score of 643, six strokes behind La Salle.
Devon O'Rourke and Nik Andresen paced the Rams, each carding a two-round score of 159 to finish in a tie for 26th overall. O'Rourke shot an 80 on the first 18 and then a 79 on the second, while Andersen recorded a 78 and an 81.
Nico Mizono, who placed third overall at the Bucknell Invitational, shot an 84 and a 79 for a two-round score of 162, tying him for 35th, while Zach Murray finished with a 165 (86-79) to tie for 41st. Trevor Seufer also competed for the Rams, finishing with a score of 167 (84-83) to tie for 44th overall.
The Rams will next be in action on September 20th and 21st as they compete in the Dartmouth Invitational at the Hanover Country Club in Hanover, New Hampshire.
