Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham volleyball team announced their 2008 schedule this afternoon, which features six NCAA tournament teams from a year ago, four tournaments, and a 13-game Atlantic 10 schedule.

The Rams will have the first of four tournaments in Hamden, Connecticut, on August 29-30 at the Quinnipiac Tournament, where Fordham will face Quinnipiac, Towson, Rhode Island, and Morgan State.

Fordham then travels to Tulsa, Oklahoma, on September 5-6 for the ORU Classic, where the Rams will face NCAA tournament team Tulsa, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, North Texas, and Oral Roberts.

On September 12-13, Fordham will host the 8th Annual Rose Hill Classic, where Stony Brook, Manhattan, and Princeton come to town.

The Rams' final tournament will be their longest trip of the season, heading to Davis, California, for the Aggie Invitational (September 19-20), where they will play Sacramento State, UC Davis, and Cal State Bakersfield.

Fordham will have a total of 13 home matches, which includes the Rose Hill Classic. The home opener will be on Wednesday, September 3rd, as they take on Wagner College at the Rose Hill Gym.

The Rams then have a September 9th home match-up against St. John's, who made it to the NCAA Round of 16 in 2007 before falling to Southern Cal. Fordham will also welcome Fairfield and Hofstra to the Rose Hill Gym for non-conference home matches. In non-conference play, Fordham will also have road matches at Seton Hall, Villanova, and Rutgers.

For Atlantic 10 play, Fordham will once again have home-and-home series against Charlotte, Temple, La Salle, and George Washington, while playing Duquesne and Saint Louis at home and Xavier, Dayton, and Rhode Island on the road.

The 2008 Atlantic 10 Championship will be in Saint Louis, Missouri, on November 21-23, where six teams will vie for the automatic NCAA berth.
