Fordham University senior guard Kevin Anderson (Westerville, Ohio/Worthington) was named the 2007-08 men's basketball most valuable player it was announced at the 74th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on April 30th.
One of five seniors on the men's basketball team, Anderson provided a calm and quiet demeanor as the Rams' floor leader, finishing second on the team in assists and steal with 76 assists and 29 steals. He averaged 2.4 ppg and 2.6 rpg while appearing in all 29 games for the 12-17 Rams, making 27 starts.
Over his four-year career, Anderson recorded 369 assists and 158 steals, both among the top ten in Fordham history, in 120 career games (115 starts).
