2008 Printable Schedule

Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham women's soccer team announced their 2008 schedule today, which will feature seven non-conference games, 11 Atlantic 10 contests, and a trip to the Duke/adidas Classic.

Fordham, the Atlantic 10 runner-up in each of the last two seasons, will open their 16th season of varsity play at home on August 31st against Iona College.

The Rams will then make their first ever to trip to Syracuse to meet the Orange on Friday, September 5th.

After another road contest against Stony Brook, Fordham will return home for two games against Marist College (Sept. 14) and Manhattan College (Sept. 16).

The Rams will then embark on a trip to Durham, North Carolina, where the Rams will compete in the Duke/adidas Classic from September 19-21. Fordham will meet host Duke on Friday the 19th, while taking on 19-time national champion North Carolina on Sunday the 21st.

Fordham then begins conference play on Friday, September 26th at George Washington. The Rams will have home conference games against Saint Louis (Sept. 28), St. Bonaventure (Oct. 3), Duquesne (Oct. 5), Rhode Island (Oct. 24), and Massachusetts (Oct. 26). Road games for the Rams will include La Salle (Oct. 10), Saint Joseph's (Oct. 17), Temple (Oct. 19), Dayton (Oct. 31), and Xavier (Nov. 2).

The Rams will look to make their third straight championship game appearance at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Championship, which will be held in St. Louis, Mo.
