After seeing two games get washed out last weekend, the Fordham baseball team returns to action Friday, as they begin a four-game series at UNC-Wilmington. Game time on Friday is set for 4:00 PM. Live Stats wil be available for all games.
In their lone game, Fordham was edged by #9 Wichita State, 4-3, last Friday, while UNC-Wilmington enters the game with a 1-4 record.
On Friday, Tom Davis (RHP, 0-0, 5.40 ERA) will take the hill for Fordham, making his second start against UNC-Wilmington's Jeff Hatcher (RHP, 0-0, 15.75 ERA). In the opener at Wichita State, Davis allowed three runs in five innings of work.
Saturday will feature a doubleheader, beginning at 1:00 PM. In game one, Fordham's Peter Kennelly (RHP, 0-0) will make his first start against UNCW's Seth Frankoff (RHP, 1-0, 3.00 ERA), while in game two, Fordham's Brando Casalicchio (RHP, 0-0) will match-up against Brad Holt (RHP, 0-1, 10.80 ERA).
The series will conlude on Sunday, where the probable starters will be Fordham's Jake Rabinowitz (RHP, 0-0) and UNCW's Brett Braxton (RHP, 0-0).
