TONIGHT'S GAME: It's a battle of Jesuit institutions as Fordham and Xavier meet for the lone match-up of the season. Xavier holds a 14-3 overall series lead over Fordham, after defeating Fordham, 64-48, at the Cintas Center last season. Xavier has won the last 12 meetings.
THE OPPONENT: Xavier is 18-7 overall, 8-2 in Atlantic 10 play. The Musketeers are coached by Kevin McGuff, who is in his sixth season at Xavier with a record of 124-57 to date.
On the floor, Xavier is led by the dynamic frontcourt duo of Amber Harris and Ta'Shia Phillips. Harris is averaging a team-best 15.8 points per game, while recording 70 blocks and a 9.1 rebounding average. Phillips is averaging a double-double per game at 13.7 points and 11.2 rebounds, while shooting .610 from the field.
