Bronx, N.Y. - (Nov. 22, 2008) - The Fordham swimming & diving teams hosted their annual dual meet with Duquesne and Rhode Island at the Col Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center on Saturday afternoon. Fordham came away with two wins by the women, as well as setting two school records by Caitlin Napoli and Andrea Krok.

On the day, the Fordham women defeated Duquesne, 120-84, and Rhode Island, 151-78, while the Fordham men fell to Duquesne, 111-91.

The meet opened with a Fordham win in the 400 medley relay, as Christina Cosentino, Nicole Marshall, Kelly Bunster, and Tressa Dunn posted a time of 3:56.54, just over six seconds better than second place Duquesne.

Napoli then took center stage in the women's 1000 freestyle. After a late switch into the event, Napoli won the event in a school record time of 10:17.14, besting the mark of 10:20.59, set by Ashley Ukleja in 2006. Napoli later followed with an event win in the 500 freestyle in 5:03.69.

The Rams came away with event wins in both 200 freestyle events. Tressa Dunn won the women's event in 1:55.80, while Ryan Coombs took the men's event in 1:42.74.

The Fordham women continued the event wins in the 200 individual medley, the one-meter dive, the 200 butterfly, and the 100 freestyle. Nicole Marshall won the 200 IM in 2:08.25, with Andrea Krok taking the one-meter dive with a score of 247.73. Courtney Collyer then won the 200 butterfly in 2:07.55, while Kelly Bunster placed first in the 100 freestyle in 52.70.
