New Haven, Conn. - The Fordham University golf squads sits in 14th place of 15 teams at the 2008 MacDonald Cup, being played at The Course at Yale.
Oklahoma leads the team competition with a team score of 571 after two rounds followed by Sacred Heart (572), Yale (575), Bryant (576) and Binghamton (582). Fordham sits in 14th place with a team score of 625.
Flagler's Eric Down leads the individual competition with a first day score of 136, four under par, while Jason Thresher of Bryant is second (139). Yale's Colby Moore, Oklahoma's Riley Pumphrey and Liam Logan and Bryant's Alex Daley are all tied for third with a two-round score of 140.
Nico Mizono leads the Rams, shooting a 77 and a 73 on day one for a 150 total, placing him in a tie for 32nd. Devon O'Rourke carded a 75 and a 76 to total 151, tying him for 40th overall to sit in a tie for 47th while Trevor Seufer shot an 85 and a 75 to tie for 67th overall with a 160. Nik Andresen (84-83-167 - 76th) and Zach Murray (82-86-168 - T77th) are also competing for Fordham.
The MacDonald will conclude with 18 holes on Sunday beginning at 7:30 a.m.
