The Fordham University men's basketball Rams will continue their 2008 Atlantic 10 home season as they host the Temple University Owls on Thursday night, January 31st, at 8:00 p.m. in the Rose Hill Gym. The game will be televised live nationally by CSTV and can be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on wfuv.org.

The Rams enter the game with an 8-9 overall record, 2-3 in the Atlantic 10, and are coming off a 74-60 Atlantic 10 loss at Charlotte on Saturday night. Temple enters the game with a 9-9 overall record, 2-2 in the conference, and is coming off a 68-67 Atlantic 10 loss to Saint Joseph's at home last Sunday.

Fordham will be led into the game by senior forward Bryant Dunston, a Queens native who was a Preseason First Team All-Atlantic 10 selection and who became the Rams' all-time blocked shots leader earlier this year (265). On the year, Dunston, who has recorded a double-double in six of the past seven games, is averaging 14.9 ppg and 9.4 rpg, both team highs, as he leads the conference in rebounding. Senior guard Marcus Stout is averaging 14.8 ppg for the Rams while leading the team in assists (52) and steals (24).

Temple is led by junior guard/forward Dionte Christmas who is leading the Atlantic 10 in scoring, averaging 20.8 ppg, while senior forward Mark Tyndale is averaging 15.6 ppg and 5.9 rpg.

Thursday night's game will be the 46th meeting between Fordham and Temple on the hardwood with the Owls leading the all-time series, 33-12. However, the Rams have won the past three match-ups, including an 80-73 win in the Rose Hill Gym last year.
