A record 122 student-athletes were named to the 2007 Patriot League Football Academic Honor Roll, Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich announced on Friday.
A total of 122 student-athletes were recognized by the Patriot League, including eight members of the Fordham program, highlighted by All-American punter Ben Dato. The mark of 122 honorees eclipses the previous high of 114 on the Football Academic Honor Roll in 2002.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports.
