Philadelphia, Pa. - Freshman goalkeeper Dan Hajducky (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) was named Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week for games through September 23rd.
In Fordham's lone match of the week, Hajducky recorded his first collegiate shutout in a scoreless tie at Delaware on Friday. He came up big, making a season-high 10 saves in the contest, as Fordham snapped a four-game slide.
Hajducky and the rest of the Fordham men's soccer team (1-4-1) will next be in action on September 26th, as they play at Lehigh, beginning at 7:00 PM.
Founded in 1841, Fordham is New York City's Jesuit University. With 22 men's and women's varsity sports teams, the Fordham Rams are members of the NCAA Division I and compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, indoor and outdoor track, women's rowing, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis and volleyball and in the Patriot League (NCAA I-FCS) for football.
