Golf Finished Third at Dartmouth Invitational

Hanover, N.H. - The Fordham golf team wrapped up play at the Dartmouth Invitational, hosted at the Hanover Country Club, on Sunday.

The Rams held strong as the course played much tougher today, with Fordham placing third out of nine teams. Dartmouth won the tournament with a score of 599, followed by Central Connecticut (611) and Fordham (614).

Fordham's David Newman shot the second best round of the day at 74, placing third overall with a two-day total of 148. Nico Mizono finished in a tie for seventh with a score of 152 (72-80), followed by Michael Finocchi in a tie for 13th (75-81-156). Trevor Seufer also cracked the top 20 in a tie for 17th (80-78-158).

In addition, Charles Sterken tied for 29th (80-83-163), Joseph Neydon tied for 36th (82-85-167), and Tyler Flynn tied for 38th (88-81-169).

The Fordham golf team will next be in action on September 29-30, as they compete at the Cornell Invitational, held at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course in Ithaca, N.Y.
