Water Polo Wins at UC-Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz, Calif. - The Fordham University water polo squad opened play the UC Santa Cruz Slugfest on Friday with an 11-9 win over the host school.

Alex Powell led the Rams with four goals and one assist while Paul Shrewsbury added three goal and an assist and Todd Conway finished with three goals and two steals.

Timmy Will made seven saves in net for the Rams who will continue play at the Slugfest on Saturday with games against Whittier College and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
