Hamilton, N.Y. - The Fordham golf team wrapped up their opening tournament on Sunday at the Colgate Invitational, held at the Seven Oaks Golf Course in Hamilton, N.Y.

Fordham finished fifth overall with a score of 625. Colgate "A" won the team title at 597, followed by Bucknell (600), Central Connecticut (604), and Rider (623).

Fordham was led by Nico Mizono, who tied for 11th overall with a two-day score of 153 (77-76), while Michael Finocchi tied for 15th with a score of 154 (75-79). David Newman tied for 28th with a score of 157 (75-82), while Charlie Sterken (T43rd - 81-80-161) and Joe Tamburo (T66th - 85-84-169) rounded out the Fordham competitors.

The Fordham golf team will next be in action on September 14-15 as they play at the Bucknell Invitational in Lewisburg, Pa.
