The Fordham University men's basketball Rams will continue their 2007-08 season and their current five-game homestand as they host the New Jersey Institute of Technology Highlanders on Saturday afternoon, December 8th, at 1:00 p.m. in the Rose Hill Gym. The game can be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on wfuv.org.
The game will mark the 100th career appearance for four members of the Fordham squad: seniors Kevin Anderson, Bryant Dunston, Sebastian Greene and Marcus Stout.
The Rams enter the game with a 4-4 overall record and are coming off a 73-71 win over Hofstra University in the Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday night as Marcus Stout netted 22 points and Brenton Butler and Bryant Dunston each added 11. New Jersey Tech enters a Thursday night game against Army at the Prudential Center with a 0-9 record.
Fordham will be led into the game by Stout, who is averaging a team-best 15.4 ppg, while Dunston, a Queens native who was a Preseason First Team All-Atlantic 10 selection, is averaging 14.1 ppg and a team-high 6.5 rpg.
New Jersey Tech is led by junior forward Nesho Milosevic, who is averaging 11.9 ppg and 7.3 rpg.
Saturday afternoon's game will be the first ever meeting between Fordham and NJIT on the hardwood.
