The Fordham University men's basketball Rams will continue their 2007-08 season as they continue their five-game homestand by hosting the Hofstra University Pride tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Rose Hill Gym. The game can be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on wfuv.org and been seen live on streaming video by clicking the "Watch Live" link above.
The Rams enter the game with a 3-4 overall record and are coming off a 72-66 loss to Robert Morris University in the Rose Hill Gym on Sunday afternoon. Hofstra enters the game with a 1-3 overall record and is coming off an 87-83 Colonial Athletic Association overtime loss to Wilmington in Hempstead on Saturday afternoon.
Fordham will be led into the game by senior forward Bryant Dunston, a Queens native who was a Preseason First Team All-Atlantic 10 selection, who is averaging 14.6 ppg and 7.1 rpg, both team highs, while senior forward Sebastian Greene is averaging 12.3 ppg and 8.7 rpg over the past three contests.
Hofstra will be led into the contest by senior guard Antoine Agudio, who is averaging 25.5 ppg, while freshman guard, Charles Jenkins, a Queens native, is averaging 12.5 ppg.
Wednesday night's game will be the 20th meeting between Fordham and Hofstra, the first since a 75-50 Pride win in the ECAC Holiday Festival in 2000. Fordham leads the overall series, 13-6.
