The first women's basketball regular season tournament in close to 20 years at Fordham wraps up on Sunday, as the Rose Hill Gym play host to the Fordham Holiday Tournament.
On Sunday, Fordham will meet Troy at 1:00 PM in the consolation game, followed by Fairfield against Mt. St. Mary's in the championship game.

Here is a short breakdown of the teams heading into the tournament:
Fordham: The Rams are still searching for that elusive first win of the season, after coming so close in their last game. Clutch threes, excellent press defense, and scoring a season-high 74 points should have given Fordham their first win of the season at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va., but George Mason's Lateisha Wade stole the game with a basket with 0.8 seconds left in overtime to give the Patriots a 76-74 victory.
Heading into the tournament, Fordham got an early gift as Fordham freshman guard Megan Mahoney was named Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Co-Rookie of the Week for games through December 23rd. It is her first career Atlantic 10 honor.
It her lone contest of the week, Mahoney recorded her first 20-point scoring performance with a team-high 22 points to go with five assists and four rebounds in an overtime loss at George Mason on December 22nd. The 22 points was the most by a Ram this season, as she came up with clutch free throws and baskets, which included a steal and basket to knot the game at 74 in overtime, before George Mason scored a last second basket to steal the game.
Mt. St. Mary's: The Mountaineers are currently 2-8 on the season, 1-1 on the Northeast Conference. They are coached are Bryan Whitten, who is in his first season with the Mountaineers.
On the floor, Brianna Gauthier leads the team with a 10.1 scoring average and a .427 field goal percentage. This is the first ever meeting between Fordham and Mt. St. Mary's.
Troy: The Trojans are currently 6-5 on the year, 0-2 in the Sun Belt Conference. They are coached by Michael Murphy, who is is his sixth season at the helm with a record of 68-83 to date.
On the floor, Amy Lewis is averaging 20 points and 3.5 rebounds a game, while Kylie Morrissy is averaging 13. 8 points and 5.5 rebounds a game. If Troy faces Fordham, it will be the first ever meeting.
Fairfield: The Stags are currently 8-3 on the season, 0-2 in the MAAC. They are coached by Joe Frager, who is in his first season with the Stags.
On the floor, Baendu Lowenthal and Sabra Wrice led the squad with identical 16.6 scoring averages, while Lowethal has a team-best 7.3 rebounding average. If Fairfield faces Fordham, it would be the 30th all-time meeting. The Stags hold a 22-7 edge in the series with the last game coming in the 1997-98 season.
