Philadelphia, Pa. - Fordham University junior Matt DiBuono (New Rochelle, N.Y./Iona Prep) was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Indoor Track and Field Performer of the Week it was announced today.

DiBuono opened the season with three top three finishes at the Fordham Season Opener on December 7th. He won the weight throw with an IC4A qualifying toss of 57-5 and then placed second in the shot put with a throw of 46-9. DiBuono set the Fordham school record in the weight throw with a toss of 61-0 in 2006. He also owns the hammer throw record (190-2) for the Rams.

On the track, DiBuono finished third in the 60-meter dash with time of 7.1.

The Fordham track and field squad will next be in action on Friday as the Rams host the Christmas Classic in the Lombardi Center beginning at 3:00 PM.
