Charlotte, N.C. - The Fordham women's soccer team hit the pitch tonight at the 2007 Atlantic 10 Championship, taking on the fifth seeded Dayton Flyers at Transamerica Field in Charlotte, N.C.

Fordham (10-4-4) received a first round bye as the number two seed, while Dayton defeated fourth-seeded Saint Louis, 2-1, in overtime on Thursday. In the other opening round game, sixth seeded Richmond topped third seeded Duquesne, 2-0, leaving Dayton as the highest remaining seed to meet Fordham.

The game is set for an approximate 8:00 PM start, following the Charlotte-Richmond match-up, which begins at 5:30 PM.
