This is the sixth meeting between the two schools with Florida State having won all five previous meetings, including an 84-34 win at the Rose Hill Gym last season.

Florida State (3-1) has been an offensive powerhouse in their first four games, scoring at least 70 points in their three wins, while netting 68 in a loss to DePaul. On the floor, FSU has been led by Jacintha Monroe, who has a team-best 13.8 scoring average and 6.8 rebounding average, while shooting .645 from the floor. Overall, the Seminoles have seven players averaging at least 7.8 points a contest.

With the Rams in the Sunshine State for the next three game, one Fordham Ram will feel right at home. Hailing from Apopka, Florida, just outside of Orlando, freshman Alexandria Zamora will make her first appearance in her home state as a member of the Rams. Thus far, she has seen quality minutes in two of three game this season for Fordham.
