Philadelphia, Pa. - Fordham sophomores Caitlin Napoli (Hauppuage, NY/St. Anthony's) and Ryan Coombs (Newburgh, N.Y./Newburgh Free Academy) were selected as Atlantic 10 Women's and Men's Swimming & Diving Performers of the Week, respectively, for the week ending November 11th. This is Napoli's fifth weekly award of her career and second this season, while being the fifth for Coombs.

In their lone meet of the week against Stony Brook, Napoli placed first in the 1000 freestyle (10:28.57) and second in the 200 backstroke (2:09.36). Both were season-best times for the sophomore, as the Fordham women defeated Stony Brook, 141-95

In that same meet, Coombs placed second in the 500 freestyle (4:42.56) and the 1000 freestyle (9:50.66) events, as Fordham topped Stony Brook, 140-103. He also swam a leg of the 400 freestyle relay, that finished in 3:12.60.

The Fordham Swimming & Diving teams will next be in action on Saturday, November 17th, as they host a dual meet against Duquesne and Rhode Island at 12:30 PM at the Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center.
