The Fordham University men's golf squad completed play at the Macdonald Cup on the Yale Golf Course with a 25th place team finish.
TCU won the team competition with a team score of 573 followed by Yale (578), USC-Upstate (591) and Dartmouth (602). The Rams shot a two-round score of 642, seven strokes behind the Yale B squad.
Nico Mizono led the Rams, shooting a 74 on the first day and a 79 on the second for a two-day total of 153 to tie for 49th overall. Other Rams competing included David Newman, who shot an 81 and a 76 to tie for 80th with a 157 total, Michael Finocchi and Charles Sterken who each shot an 85 on day one and an 81 on day two for a 166 total to tie for 121st and Trevor Suefer (87-83-170/T-125th).
The Rams will next be in action on October 12th and 13th as they compete in the Hofstra Invitational at the Bethpage Red Course on Long Island.
