Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham's Dominique Ligouri, Catherine Kellner, Ellenoira Featherston, and Kathryn Pando all won in straight sets, as the Fordham women's tennis team evened their fall record with a 5-2 victory over Saint Joseph's at the Hawthorn/Rooney Tennis Courts.

Fordham is now 2-2 this fall.

Fordham opened the match by winning two of three doubles matches for the doubles point. Dominique Ligouri and Ellenoira Featherston paired up for an 8-1 win at first doubles, while Catherine Kellner and Martina Featherston combined for an 8-3 win at second doubles.

In singles play, Fordham jumped out to a 3-0 edge, as Kellner quickly won her second singles match, 6-2 and 6-0, over Gina DiGiacomo, while Ligouri won at first singles, 6-3, and 6-2, over Steph Velazquez. Ellenoira Featherston (6-3, 6-2) and Kathryn Pando (6-2, 6-0) then clinched the win for Fordham with victories at third and sixth singles, respectively.

The Fordham women's tennis team will next be in action on Sunday, October 7th, as they play at Princeton, beginning at 12:30 PM.
