Bronx, N.Y. -
Tickets are still available for the important Fordham-Holy Cross Patriot League football match-up on Saturday, November 3rd, on Jack Coffey Field but if you can't make it to the game, the contest will now be televised live by WNBC 4.4 and can be seen throughout the Metropolitan area. To see if WNBC 4.4 is offered by your cable provider, click here. The game can also be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on the internet at wfuv.org
.
The game will also be streamed live on the Fordham Media Page
Fans are encouraged to arrive early as traffic around the Fordham campus will be heavy due to the expected large turnout. As of 3:30 PM on Friday, no more phone ticket orders will be taken, but tickets will still available when the ticket booth opens at 10:30 AM on Saturday.
The day will start with opening of Ram Park on Edwards Parade, which opens one hour before the 1:00 PM kickoff. Ram Park features inflatable rides for children of all ages. Kids can also have their faces painted and meet the Ram!
At 1:00 PM, one of the most important football games to date on Jack Coffey Field will kickoff as the Rams battle the Crusaders in a game that will have Patriot League title implications. With a win, Fordham would clinch at least a tie for the Patriot League crown and the automatic bid to the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) playoffs. A Holy Cross win would make the Crusaders' two remaining home games (Lafayette and Colgate) decision makers in the title hunt.
Later Saturday night, fans can get their first look at the 2007-08 Fordham University men's basketball squad as the Rams take on the University of the District of Columbia in an exhibition game in the Rose Hill Gym at 7:00 PM. Admission to the exhibition is free.
