MEN'S SOCCER MOVES UP TWO SPOTS IN SOCCER AMERICA RANKINGS; ALSO ENTER NSCAA COACHES AND COLLEGE SOCCER NEWS POLL

(September 5, 2006) ?C With two wins this week, the Fordham Men??s Soccer improved their their record to 3-0 on the season, and moved up two spots to #21 in the Soccer America College Top 25 poll. The Rams also joined the top 25 in the NSCAA Coaches' Poll at #12, plus ranking #1 in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings by the NSCAA, while College Soccer News entered Fordham at #28 in their top 30 poll. The Rams entered the Soccer America top 25 last weekend after their upset of South Florida to start the 2006 season. Fordham followed that performance with a 3-1 win over Army on Thursday, while posting a last second victory over Columbia on Sunday night. Leading the way this week, senior foward Omero Rozen notched a goal against Army and then dished out two assists versus Columbia, while junior Dean Stanic had two goals against Columbia. The Rams did get some Atlantic 10 company as Saint Louis also made the top 25 this week.
