MEN'S SOCCER BACK AT 12TH IN COACHES POLLS, 24TH BY SOCCER AMERICA POLL, & 28TH BY COLLEGE SOCCER NEWS

(September 19, 2006) ?C With an overtime win over the weekend, the Fordham Men??s Soccer improved their record to 5-0-1 on the season, matching their best start in 1987 through six games. With the victory, the Rams climbed back to #12 in the NSCAA Coaches?? Poll, while standing pat at #24 in the Soccer America College Top 25 poll, and #28 in the poll by College Soccer News. The Rams also kept their #1 Regional Ranking by the NSCAA. Leading the way this week, junior foward Dean Stanic scored his third goal of the season on Saturday in overtime off a pass from Brian Glennon to defeat the Siena Saints, 1-0. The Rams will be in action twice this week as they host Iona College on Wednesday at 7:00 PM, while taking on Manhattan at 7:00 PM on Saturday. In addition, Fordham will have their annual alumni game prior to the Manhattan game at 4:00 PM. Below are links to the various polls and stories.
