MEN'S SOCCER MOVES TO 14TH IN COACHES POLLS, 24TH BY SOCCER AMERICA POLL, & 28TH BY COLLEGE SOCCER NEWS

(September 12, 2006) ?C With a win and a tie this past weekend, the Fordham Men??s Soccer improved their record to 4-0-1 on the season, their best start since 1987, when the team began 5-0-1. Despite remaining unbeaten, the Rams dropped to #14 in the NSCAA Coaches?? Poll, #24 in the Soccer America College Top 25 poll, while standing pat at #28 in the poll by College Soccer News. The Rams did however keep their #1 Regional Ranking by the NSCAA, while also garnering the top spot in the Acquista Trattoria/BigAppleSoccer.com poll, which ranks local teams against each other. Previously, Fordham was ranked fourth by Big Apple Soccer.com Leading the way this week, senior forward Omero Rozen had a pair of goals, while Kevin Meyer had a goal and two assists. Both are tied for the Atlantic 10 lead in scoring with eight points.
