(July 25, 2006) ?C Fordham junior pitcher Tom Davis and senior catcher John Mollicone were both selected to the NEBCL All-Star Game, played on July 23rd in Keene, NH. Both saw action for the Southern Division All-Stars, as Davis threw one inning of scoreless relief, while Mollicone caught the final three innings. Davis made the team as a member of the Danbury Westerners, where he has started seven games and has an ERA of 2.30. In 43.0 innings of work, he has struck out 44 batters, allowed just 11 walks, while holding opponents to a .257 batting average. Mollicone was selected as a member of the Newport Gulls, who currently sit a top the Southern Division standings. Thus far, he has 24 hits, 11 runs scored, two doubles, two home runs, and 10 RBI, while throwing out eight of 31 baserunners.
