(May 14, 2006) ?C Member of the Fordham University men??s and women??s outdoor track and field squads wrapped up competition at the ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Championships held at Princeton University on Saturday afternoon.
Leading the way for the Rams was Kerstin Greene, who took sixth in the triple jump with a school-record leap of 40?? 6.75??, breaking her own record of 39?? 1.25?? set on March 18th at the Arizona State/Baldy Castillo Invitational. The mark also qualifies Greene for the NCAA East Regionals to be held from May 26th through the 27th at the Irwin Belk Track in Greensboro, North Carolina. She will be joined there by Maureen Zivic, who qualified for the 800m by winning the Atlantic 10 championship last week.
Greene also competed in the long jump at the ECAC Championships, placing tenth with a jump of 19?? 1.5??, just short of her school record.
In women??s relays, the 4x800 team of Kristina Knapp, Danica Dupuy, Stephanie Luther, and Zivic took tenth in a time of 9:09.24.
On the men??s side, the 4x800 relay team of Clifton Hilario, Matthew Lowenthal, Nicholas Kroll and Peter Glackin finished 16th in a time of 7:43.73.
