(June 20, 2006) ?C Terri Adams, who served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Rams this past year, was named assistant softball coach at Fordham University it was announced today by head coach
Bridget Orchard.
Adams helped the 2006 squad finish with a 37-23 overall record, Fordham??s fourth straight 30-win season, with the Rams advancing to the Atlantic 10 Championships for the fourth consecutive year.
Adams is no stranger to Atlantic 10 softball, having been the top assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Temple University from 1998 through 2005. In 2004, she helped guide the Owls to the 2004 Atlantic 10 Championship and their first-ever berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Prior to Temple, she spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Kutztown University.
Adams has also had plenty of summer ball coaching experience as an ASA Head Coach with the Lehigh Valley Renedgades, who captured six Pennsylvania ASA State Championships and eight berths in the ASA National Tournament.
She is currently finishing her degree in Sports Administration at Kutztown University, where she played softball at pitcher and second base.
