(April 7, 2006) ?C Fordham University junior Kerstin Greene will be featured on NCAA On Campus, a television show to be broadcast on Monday, April 10th at 4:00 p.m., on Fox Sports New York. The show, produced by Fox Sportsnet, features stories on collegiate athletes and their teams. The television crew visited Fordham University last month to shoot the program around the Bronx campus. One segment of the show will feature Greene, a record-setting member of the track and field team whose brother, Sebastian, is a member of the men??s basketball team. The feature highlights the story of how Kerstin followed Sebastian to Fordham. The Greene??s are originally from Germany, where Kerstin had been working as a singer and a disc jockey but promised Sebastian that she would try to go to school wherever he signed to play college basketball, and she kept her promise. Both were athletic as children, as they took up the sport of speed skating as children with Kerstin earning a place on the German national team where she won 17 German Championships and 24 state championships. Kerstin has displayed her athleticism at Fordham, earning First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors with the track and field team for two straight years while setting eight school records.
