(April 6, 2006) ?C The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches has released its 2005 All-Academic Team with three Fordham Rams garnering All-Academic honors. Senior Kevin O??Neill (Reno, NV/Bishop Manogue Catholic) leads the trio, earning All-Academic honors for the third straight year, while junior Jon Almy (West Simbury, CT/Phillips Exeter Academy) and freshman Tim Will (Surfside, FL/Miami Beach Sr.) are on the team for the first time. O??Neill, a Psychology major, was a four-year starter for Fordham, helping the Rams win nine contests this season, the most in recent memory. He finished the year with three goals and 12 steals. Almy, a Finance major, served as one of the team??s co-captains this past season. He finished the season with three goals on the year to go with 13 steals. Will, a Fordham College student, was the Rams?? starting netminder this season. In 21 games, he recorded 156 saves and 52 steals.
