(November 17, 2006) - The Student Global AIDS Campaign (SGAC) will be holding a 3 v 3 Basketball Tournament on Wednesday, November 29th from 6-9pm in the Lombardi Center Field House. The event will be in recognition of World AIDS Day which is on Friday, December 1st, and will help in raising funds for HIV/AIDS related organizations across the globe. The entry fee is $15 per team. There will also be a $3 entry fee for a shooting contest and $1 fee for a Ben and Jerry??s ice cream eating contest. Prizes for the winners of these events include an iPod shuffle, iPod speaker, Knicks tickets, Nets tickets, Devils tickets, autographed Yankee baseballs, Arthur Avenue gift certificates, and more. There will be free t-shirts for the first 100 participants; sign-ups are being held in the McGinley Center Lobby this week and next week. All donations are also welcome and appreciated.
