(November 13, 2006) ?C The Collegiate Water Polo Association announced the 2006 Northern Division All-Conference teams this week, with Fordham sophomore Todd Conway (San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) being named First Team All-Conference. This is the second straight season a Fordham water polo player has been honored, as Paul Shrewsbury garnered Second Team honors last season. Conway is joined on the Northern Division First Team by St. Francis' Botond Szlma, Bogdan Petrovic, and Dusko Radanovac, Brown's Mike Gartner, and Harvard's Mike Garcia Conway led the Rams in goals, points, steals, and kickouts drawn this season. He finished with 39 goals and six assists for 45 points, while registering 33 steals and 47 kickouts drawn. In addition to his personal accomplishments, Conway helped Fordham to a fifth place finish at th CWPA Northern Playoffs and an 11-11-1 record, Fordham's first .500 or better season since the 1980s.
